Hit Streak Now at 20 for Cole Thursday, September 2nd , 2049 Moscow center fielder Jeff Cole keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 1 hit at Galaxy Ballpark. The Mules earned the 4-1 victory over the Great Lakes Loons. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Cole said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Jeff Cole struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. At present, Cole is batting .344 and has collected 7 home runs, 34 RBIs, .434 OBP and scored 38 runs. |
