"There's so much pride in our room and on our roster, anything but a division title wouldn't have been acceptable," said starting pitcher Enrique Delgado. "In the playoffs we'll just have to take it one day at a time and keep battling." The Grasshoppers this year have battled to a 77-61 mark, which is good for the club's 20th Division 1 title. "I'm extremely proud of my players and look forward to seeing what we can do in the postseason," said manager Matt Rodriguez. |
