Playoff Bound: Flagstaff Secures Wild Card Saturday, September 2nd , 2051 The Flagstaff Skyhawks don't see themselves as underdogs or long shots to win the Round 3. It may have been only a wild card berth the team was celebrating, as opposed to an Division 4 crown, but that didn't damper the optimism. "I think we're one of the best teams in this league and when it counts, I know we can be the best," said catcher Cole Ball. "No one is going to remember the team that had the best regular season record. They are going to remember the Round 3 champions and we believe that's going to be us." The Skyhawks have a 78-58 record and will be looking to win the 2nd Round 3 in team history. |
