In the Schenectady's 19-3 win over Traverse City, shortstop Cory Brown was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Cherries Ballpark. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Brown said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Cory Brown flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jordan Gonzalez in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Rick Garcia in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
