Lincolnville SP Sawyer Will Miss 6 Months Tuesday, August 29th , 2051 The season is finished for Pete Sawyer of the Lincolnville Abes. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Abes starting pitcher suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Baxter Dingos. Team doctors said it would take at least 6 months to heal. In 22 starts this year, Sawyer has recorded a 10-12 record and a 3.37 ERA. |
