Roadrunners Move on to Round 2 Friday, September 16th , 2050 The Albuquerque Roadrunners have advanced to the Round 2, with a 4-0 triumph at Roadrunners Ballpark over the Acadia Peregrines. The win sealed a 4-2 series win for Albuquerque. The series MVP honor went to Roadrunners starting pitcher Eric Clifton. "It takes every guy in that dugout to win games, not just me," Clifton said afterward. "I'm proud to be moving on." The Albuquerque Roadrunners don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Moscow Mules - Traverse City Cherries series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
