Traverse City Blanked by Stokes, 11-0 Thursday, August 18th , 2050 Houston Orange Kings starter Jon Stokes really did a number on the Traverse City Cherries, shutting them out, 11-0, on 2 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 4 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Traverse City manager Matt Bronson. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Stokes."
