Traverse City Halts Mussatto's Hitting Steak Thursday, July 28th , 2050 The 27-game hitting streak is over. Moscow Mules second baseman Jace Mussatto failed to get a hit against the Traverse City Cherries and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 22-year-old went 0-for-4 in his club's 8-1 victory over the Cherries at Las vegas Ballpark. "I think I only made it to 27 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." In the 2050 season Mussatto is hitting .328 with 10 home runs. |
