Blue Devils Heading to Round 2 Tuesday, September 15th , 2048 The Concord Blue Devils appear poised to make a serious run at the Round 3 after a convincing sweep over the Schenectady Grasshoppers in the Round 1. It's now on to the Round 2 for Concord, who won the final game 8-5 and took the series 4-0. "Everyone's doing their part and things are falling into place," said Concord first baseman Lonny Aitken, who was named series MVP. "It feels like a special year." For the series, Aitken hit .526 with a .571 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 1 runs. The Concord Blue Devils don't know who they will face in the next round.
