Great Lakes Loses Ogaz for Year Wednesday, September 9th , 2048 Edgar Ogaz of the Loons just might have to call it quits for the season. The 21-year-old Great Lakes reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Baxter Dingos recently at Galaxy Ballpark. Ogaz suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. The Loons medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4-5 months. Ogaz's record this year is 4-and-3 with no saves and a 6.99 ERA. He has given up 91 hits in 83.2 innings with 58 strikeouts. |
