Sarasota's Moffitt to Miss Season Friday, July 15th , 2050 The season is ending on a bad note for Frank Moffitt, reliever for the Sarasota Supernovas. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Moffitt was hurt against the Qubec City Poutine while throwing a pitch. He suffered radial nerve compression and will be out for at least 8-9 months. This year, Moffitt has made 24 relief appearances with 1 save. In 45.1 innings, he has fanned 30 hitters and recorded 1 win and no losses with a 4.96 ERA. |
