Clarke 5-for-5 for Loons Wednesday, August 4th , 2049 It was a great day at the plate for Sean Clarke. For his Great Lakes Loons, the day was not nearly as good. The second baseman collected 5 hits in 5 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes snatched the victory, topping the Loons by a score of 13-6. "Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," Clarke said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right." Sean Clarke hit a solo-shot off Jon Osina in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
