Hits Galore: Cano Drills 5 Hits Wednesday, July 14th , 2049 Jesus Cano of the Roadrunners was unstoppable in his team's 10-9 victory over the Sarasota Supernovas at Roadrunners Ballpark. He battered them for 5 hits in 8 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Albuquerque third baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-8 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Jesus Cano singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th, singled in the 9th, hit an RBI single in the 11th, flied out in the 13th and hit an RBI single in the 14th.
