Washington Extends Hit Streak to 25 Games Monday, June 26th , 2051 Jalen Washington ran his hitting streak to 25 straight games at Las vegas Ballpark, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Houston Orange Kings dropped the game, 4-3, to the Moscow Mules. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Washington said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Jalen Washington hit a sac fly in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, flied out in the 10th and flied out in the 12th. So far this year, Washington is hitting .350 with 15 home runs. |
