The Schenectady Grasshoppers starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Albuquerque Roadrunners and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Garza was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 8 months.
