No Playoff Berth Coming for Great Lakes Sunday, August 23rd , 2048 There will certainly be no championship parade for the Great Lakes Loons this season. They were already on the outside looking in for the playoff chase, but the club was officially eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2046. In total, the Loons have missed the playoffs 20 times in their 31-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Loons have only made the playoffs once. |
