3-HR Dream Game for Wells Thursday, May 2nd , 2052 Sometimes it just isn't enough. Steve Wells had an outstanding day at Ballpark of Tulsa for the Albuquerque Roadrunners, ripping three home runs. Nonetheless, the Roadrunners fell to the Sarasota Supernovas, 11-7. Wells had a feast at the plate, pounding everything thrown his way. The 23-year-old shortstop banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 times and batted in 4 runs. Despite his sensational performance, the Roadrunners were not able to hold off the Supernovas. "Baseball is a funny game," Wells said in the post-game interview, "You can't dwell on the reasons for the loss. I'm sure there will be days when I go 0-for-4 and we win. These things tend to even out."
