Tulsa's Curtis Will Miss Season Saturday, July 18th , 2048 Pat Curtis will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Tulsa starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Curtis was injured while throwing a pitch in the Drillers-Cherries clash at Ballpark of Tulsa recently. Doctors said he has a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 14 months. Up to now Curtis has compiled an ERA of 3.05 with a 6-5 mark over 19 starts. He has 66 strikeouts in 109.1 innings and has held opponents to a .291 batting average. |
