Big Day for Arias: Swats 5 Hits Sunday, April 21st , 2052 Even as a kid, Alex Arias said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Las vegas Ballpark, Arias showed how well he learned that lesson. The 21-year-old right fielder had 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Moscow Mules, helping his team knock off the Baxter Dingos by a score of 3-2. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did." Alex Arias singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and hit an RBI single in the 12th.
