Abes Johnny Salgado Will Miss Season Friday, April 19th , 2052 The doctors have spoken and Johnny Salgado of the Lincolnville Abes didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Salgado sustained his season-ending injury during the Flagstaff Skyhawks game yesterday at Skyhawks Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Lincolnville medical staff reported Salgado had shoulder inflammation and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7 months. |
