Big Day with Bat: Cano 5-for-7 Monday, April 15th , 2052 Albuquerque Roadrunners third baseman Jesus Cano banged out 5 hits, but it was not enough to keep his club from succumbing to the Traverse City Cherries, 3-2. He went 5-for-7 and raised his batting average a few points. "If the hits keep coming," an upbeat Cano said after the game, "the runs will too. And, more importantly, so will the wins." Jesus Cano singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, singled in the 11th and singled in the 13th.
