CAP Player of the Week Named Monday, May 23rd , 2050 Not every ball that came off Mike Neria's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Flagstaff Skyhawks. For his exploits, Neria was named this week's CBD Single A+ Player of the Week award. The Flagstaff first baseman put up 11 hits in 26 at-bats and 4 home runs while hitting .423 with 8 RBIs and 9 runs scored. So far this season, Neria is hitting .307 with 11 home runs, 27 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He has 51 hits in 166 at-bats and a .361 OBP. |
