20 Games in a Row for Hirsch Thursday, July 2nd , 2048 Eric Hirsch, center fielder for the Concord Blue Devils, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 4-2 victory over the Flagstaff Skyhawks at Bruins Ballpark. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Eric Hirsch walked in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Joe Norment in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far in 2048 Hirsch is batting .310 with 8 home runs, 31 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 77 hits in 248 at-bats and a .381 OBP. |
