Week's Top Performer Honored by CAP Monday, June 19th , 2051 It was a fantastic week for Sarasota right fielder Salvador Irene and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the CBD Single A+ Player of the Week Award. Last week Irene hammered the ball at a torrid .583 pace, going 7-for-12 with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored. At the moment, Irene is hitting .265 with 6 home runs and 26 RBIs.
