Hutton Swats 3 HR Against Charleston
Sunday, June 4th , 2051
The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Dave Hutton did at Charleston Ballpark, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 17-4.
"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Hutton said. "Good things happen, when that happens."
The Baxter Dingos right fielder blistered the Charleston Chews for 5 hits, batted in 8 runs and scored 5 times.
"It ain't like we weren't trying," Charleston manager Chris Scott said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today."
Dave Hutton hit a three-run home run off Daniel Lobos in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Daniel Lobos in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Kevin Grunow in the 9th.
Thus far this season, Hutton has hit .300 with 5 home runs, 17 RBIs and scored 15 times.
