West Batters Sarasota for 5 Hits Sunday, June 4th , 2051 Jeff West had an answer for everything the Sarasota Supernovas threw at him at Ballpark of Tulsa. The Flagstaff second baseman went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Skyhawks a win, 10-7. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, West said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Jeff West singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Mike Kahn in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
