Schenectady Captures Division 1 Crown Thursday, August 22nd , 2047 Grown men turned into little boys, some even breaking into tears, in the Schenectady Grasshoppers clubhouse, after the team clinched the Division 1. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager Nate Hollerman. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 86-41 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 6th Round 3 championship. Starting Pitcher Tullio Citti said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 16th division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
