Lakes on to Round 3 Saturday, September 21st , 2041 The championship aspirations of the Killarney Lakes are still alive and well, while the Concord Blue Devils are left to wait until next year. Killarney won the clinching game of the Round 2 5-1 over Concord at Bruins Ballpark, to win the series 4-1. "You feel like a little kid again, celebrating something like this," said left fielder Danny Sterling, who paced the Killarney offense and was named series MVP. "We take everything real seriously when we're on the field, but after a series is over you can finally relax a little bit." Sterling claimed the MVP by racking up 5 hits for a .333 average, with a .375 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Killarney Lakes don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Tulsa Drillers - Da Nang Dolphins series. Da Nang leads the series 3 games to 2.
