Concord Moves on to Round 2 Thursday, September 12th , 2041 The Concord Blue Devils are riding high after knocking off the Monterrey Jacks in the Round 1. "We're feeling confident now and that's half the battle," said Zack Labb, who was named series MVP. "You play confidently, you play well and it shows up with results like this." Concord won the final game by a 4-3 count at Bruins Ballpark and the series 4-1. For the series, Labb hit .350 with a .381 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 4 runs.
