League Suspends Chews Charno 2 Games Tuesday, May 4th , 2049 It was both entertaining and embarrassing to see. Charleston right fielder Gauthier Charno really got rowdy at Charleston Ballpark yesterday in a game against the Flagstaff Skyhawks. It all started with a called third strike and ended up with Charno being ejected from the game. In between he screamed at several umpires, kicked dirt on them and made several obscene gestures. All of this is frowned upon by the league office. Today they suspended Charno for 2 games. He could not be reached today for comment. Thus far in 2049, Charno is hitting .351 with 7 home runs, 13 RBIs, 18 runs scored and has compiled a .406 OBP. |
