5-for-6 Game for Rodriquez Friday, May 2nd , 2053 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Rich Rodriquez of the Da Nang Dolphins had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate in his team's 15-8 win over the Concord Blue Devils at Da Nang Field. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 21-year-old third baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Rich Rodriquez hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jason Henager in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. Rodriquez is hitting .337 this year with 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .380, 6 walks and scored 14 times. View Boxscore |
