Dykes Torches Mules for 5 Hits Saturday, July 13th , 2041 It was high-fives all around for Bill Dykes at Killarney Ballpark today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Moscow Mules. Dykes smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 12-6 win. "Bill was hitting everything," said Lakes manager Batista Aoyagi. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Mules manager Dave Richards told BNN beat writers that Dykes "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Dykes oversleeps next time." Bill Dykes singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Mark Ventola in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jose Ayala in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
