Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 4 Games Saturday, July 6th , 2041 There was a heated confrontation yesterday at Jacks Ballpark between the Jacks and Lakes that resulted in ejections and suspensions. John Woodworth of Monterrey and Mark Wright of Killarney were issued 4-game suspensions by the league office for initiating the on-field disturbance. To date this season Woodworth is hitting .247 with 10 home runs. Thus far this season Wright has compiled a 2-0 record, made 14 relief appearances with 2 saves, hurling 23.2 innings and striking out 23. He has held the opposition to a .143 batting average with a 1.14 ERA. |
