Rodriguez Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Wednesday, May 11th , 2050 The number just keeps getting higher. Qubec City second baseman Jonathan Rodriguez has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 2 hits in 4 at-bats as the Qubec City won the game, 6-4, over the Charleston Chews at Charleston Ballpark. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Charleston manager Chris Scott said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Jonathan Rodriguez struck out in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Justin Sealock in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. |
