Arroyo Takes CA Top Starter Trophy Monday, June 1st , 2048 This month when the Killarney manager wrote the name "Arroyo" on the lineup card, he was confident that he would get a good start out of him. Outing after outing in May Melvin Arroyo took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 5-0 mark and 0.70 ERA in 6 starts, piling up 38.2 innings and 29 strikeouts and holding opposing teams to a .185 average. For his superb performance Arroyo was named the CBD Single A Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. So far this season, Arroyo has 6 wins and 1 loss and a 1.67 ERA. |
