Pickens Crowned Batter of the Month in May Monday, June 1st , 2048 Giovanni Pickens is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Tulsa first baseman joined that select company when the CBD Single A announced the results of May's voting. Pickens totaled 38 hits, 15 walks, 6 home runs, 26 RBIs and 21 runs scored last month to put together a .355 batting average and .440 on-base percentage. Currently Pickens has 12 home runs and a .306 batting average. |
