Lincolnville-Sarasota Fight Results in Suspensions Tuesday, April 26th , 2050 If there wasn't a history between Randy Landen of Lincolnville and Tommy Barrowcliff of Sarasota, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Landen said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Looking at his present stats, Landen has compiled a .348 batting average in 18 games with a .438 on-base percentage, while hitting 1 home run and driving in 9 runs. In 2 starts this season, Barrowcliff has registered a 0-0 record and a 2.76 ERA. |
