Ramirez on a Hot Streak, CAP Player of the Week Monday, April 25th , 2050 Moscow fans have something to crow about today as Moscow center fielder Tony Ramirez nabbed the CBD Single A+ Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Ramirez. He posted a .400 average (8-for-20) this past week with 4 home runs, 8 RBIs, and 5 runs scored. Thus far this season, Ramirez is hitting .282 with 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 11 hits in 39 at-bats and has played in 12 games. |
