Lagunas Extends Hit Streak to 25 Games Wednesday, May 27th , 2048 Chalk up another one for Arlington Trappers third baseman Alex Lagunas. He now has hit in 25 straight games. Lagunas went 2-for-4 in today's game at Jacks Ballpark but saw his club defeated, 10-0, by the host Monterrey Jacks. "Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Trappers manager said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Alex Lagunas flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. In 38 games this season, Lagunas has compiled a .333 batting average with 51 hits and 5 home runs. He has also scored 19 times and knocked in 18 runs. |
