Cruz Cracks 3 HRs for Houston Wednesday, April 15th , 2048 Whatever Tony Cruz ate for breakfast before his game against the Arlington Trappers, it gave him some impressive power. The Houston left fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at Trappers Ballpark. His home run barrage helped the Orange Kings defeat the Trappers, 12-6. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-4, scored 3 times, drove in 9 and put on a display that history will remember. Tony Cruz struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Sam Ross in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Sam Ross in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Juan Oliva in the 6th and walked in a run in the 7th. For the year, Cruz is batting .310 with 5 home runs, 17 RBIs and 7 runs scored. |
