Lakes Move on to Round 2 Wednesday, September 11th , 2052 A 4-3 triumph at Killarney Ballpark has wrapped up the Round 1 for the Killarney Lakes. "We're off to the Round 2," said Lakes first baseman Randy Beatty, who was named series MVP after his club eliminated the Albuquerque Roadrunners by a series score of 4-1. "You can never take a win in a series like this for granted," he said. The Killarney Lakes don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes - Schenectady Grasshoppers series. Schenectady leads the series 3 games to 2.
