Fernandez Crowned Top CAP Hitter in August Sunday, September 1st , 2052 Tony Fernandez is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Concord third baseman joined that select company when the CBD Single A+ announced the results of August's voting. Fernandez totaled 47 hits, 7 walks, 15 home runs, 35 RBIs and 25 runs scored last month to put together a .376 batting average and .413 on-base percentage. So far this year, Fernandez has 19 home runs and a .362 batting average. |
