Mancia Tags Peregrines for 6 Hits Monday, August 12th , 2052 Getting 6 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Houston's 12-4 win over Acadia, second baseman Ricky Mancia was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Peregrines Ballpark. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Mancia said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Ricky Mancia singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off David Bacon in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
