Acadia Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Monday, August 12th , 2052 The Acadia Peregrines were certainly not a team of destiny this year and now they have been eliminated from playoff contention. "We thought we had a better chance than this," said reliever Adam Williams. "It's a big disappointment." The Peregrines have missed the playoffs 23 times in their 35 years as a CBD Single A+ franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2050.
