Angulo Socks It to Lakes, Cracks 5 Hits Wednesday, August 7th , 2052 Albuquerque Roadrunners second baseman Jose Angulo had a day to remember at Roadrunners Ballpark, ripping apart the Killarney Lakes and sparking the 12-1 Roadrunners win. Angulo wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-5. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," Angulo told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it."
