Polanco and Williams Suspended for Free-for-All Wednesday, August 7th , 2052 David Polanco of the Houston Orange Kings and Greg Williams of the Concord Blue Devils will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Orange Kings-Blue Devils game at Orange Kings Ballpark. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Polanco and Williams will begin serving them soon. Polanco on the season is batting .196 with 4 home runs. His totals include 19 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has played in 59 games. On the season, Williams has compiled a 6-8 mark with a 5.79 ERA in 21 starts. In pitching 107.1 innings he has 48 strikeouts and 51 walks while limiting the opposition to a .331 batting average. |
