Pruitt Named CAP Batter of the Month Thursday, August 1st , 2052 Scott Pruitt put together a good July to earn the CBD Single A+ Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Sarasota officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Supernovas second baseman posted a .392 batting average with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Pruitt is hitting .344 for the season with 10 home runs, 37 RBIs and 38 runs scored.
