Omaha-Vung Tau Brawl, McCollough and Rojo Suspended Sunday, July 7th , 2052 If there wasn't a history between Jalen McCollough of Omaha and Francisco Rojo of Vung Tau, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 7 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," McCollough said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." This year, McCollough is batting .297 with 15 home runs and 34 RBIs. In 2 starts this season, Rojo has picked up no wins while suffering 3 losses. He has pitched 30.1 innings, allowed 37 hits, struck out 24 and posted a 3.56 ERA. |
