It's Over! Baltimore Defeats Fresno Sunday, October 1st , 2051 This is the time of the baseball season when grown men are reduced to tears. This year, the Baltimore Jaspers were shedding tears of joy and the Fresno Orange Sox those of sorrow. The Jaspers topped the Orange Sox today 3-0 at Orange Sox Ballpark and locked up their 8th CBD Double A Round 3 championship, winning the series 4-1. "To come this far and leave empty-handed is not easy," said Fresno manager Joseph Winter. The Jaspers finished the regular season in the Division 3 with a 86-54 record, ending up in first place in the division standings. View Boxscore |
