Jaspers Heading to Round 3 Sunday, September 24th , 2051 Jalen Washington wore out opposing pitchers en route to being named Round 2 MVP. The star's Baltimore Jaspers defeated the Hartford Defenders by a series score of 4-1 to advance to the Round 3. Baltimore won the final game by a 5-1 count in front of a raucous crowd at Defenders Ballpark. Washington hit .400 with a .429 on-base percentage in the series, while also adding 3 home runs, driving in 5 RBI and scoring 4 runs. "Just trying to do my job, that's all there is too it," said Washington. The Baltimore Jaspers will play against the Fresno Orange Sox in the next round.
